Who Are We

First Baptist Church, is an Independent, Fundamental Bible believing Church. We were founded July 10th 1955 by Immanuel Baptist Church as an outreach to the area of Trona. We believe and teach the literal interpretation of scripture and our main focuses are to make and teach disciples and build strong Families through the commands and principles of God's Word.

 

Our Beliefs  

Sola Scriptora: We believe that The Bible, God's only Word, is our only authority in all Faith, life and practice. We read, teach, preach and obey it literally. We believe that denominational preference should never dictate what a person believes. We are Baptists, because Baptist's have historically followed the literal teaching Of Scripture for the last 1,900 yrs. There has always been some key distinctions of Baptists.
